Anderson has worked for Community Trust Bank for over 22 years. His previous position was as the indirect collection manager for Community Trust Bank. He graduated from Feds Creek High School in Feds Creek, Kentucky. He earned a bachelor of arts degree from Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky. Anderson and his wife Donna reside in Pikeville, Kentucky.
