Bellevue University, a private, accredited, non-profit university, celebrated their recent partnership with Big Sandy Community & Technical College (BSCTC) with a grand opening celebration.
The partnership, the first in the state of Kentucky, will offer BSCTC students the opportunity to continue their education beyond an Associate’s degree.  As a result of the partnership, students will be able to transfer all of their college credits, including their full associate’s degree, toward an accelerated, online bachelor’s degree in a career relevant field.
Founded in 1966, Bellevue University’s mission is to make education possible for students who seek flexibility, affordability, and the real world knowledge and skills that will prepare them for career success.  The BSCTC partnership is one of more than 50 community college partnerships across the United States.
“BSCTC is committed to offering students opportunities to finish their baccalaureate degree without ever leaving home” said Savannah Castle, Bellevue University Relationship Manager. “We are excited about this partnership.”
Savannah Castle, Relationship Manager Premiere Partnerships at BSCTC, Amy Cox, Associate Director Organizational Management Premier Partnerships, Todd Lardenoit, Director Enrollment Initiatives & Market Development Premier Partnerships and Angela Jesse, Relationship Manager Premiere Partnerships at Bluegrass CTC attended the event and were on hand to answer any questions.  If you are interested in transferring to Bellevue or for more information you can contact Savannah Castle at 606-369-7198 or by email at savannah.castle@bellevue.edu.
