Bluegrass Healing Partners Celebrates Grand Opening
PIKEVILLE, KY — The Southeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce proudly joined community members, local leaders, and families on Tuesday, June 2 to celebrate the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of Bluegrass Healing Partners, a new behavioral and mental health services provider dedicated to supporting children and families throughout the region.
Located inside the former Christ Central School building, Bluegrass Healing Partners has transformed the space into a welcoming environment focused on healing, growth, and support for young people. The opening marks not only the launch of an important new service for Eastern Kentucky families but also a new chapter for a familiar location.
Guests attending the celebration were invited to tour the facility, gaining a firsthand look at the programs and services available. The family-friendly event featured inflatables in the gymnasium for children to enjoy, while Kona Ice provided a fun treat for attendees gathered outside.
Bluegrass Healing Partners offers day treatment services for children ages 4-12 and after-school programming for youth up to age 17, helping address a critical need for behavioral and mental health support in the region.
Prior to the ribbon cutting ceremony, Megan Thacker, Director of Bluegrass Healing Partners, welcomed attendees and shared the organization’s mission.
“It is our belief that every child deserves the opportunity to heal, every family deserves support, and every individual we serve deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect,” said Thacker.
The Southeast Kentucky Chamber is happy to welcome Bluegrass Healing Partners to the local business community and recognizes the positive impact the organization will have on children and families across the region.
“We are thrilled to celebrate the opening of Bluegrass Healing Partners. We recognize the investment they are making in the well-being of children and families throughout Eastern Kentucky. They are truly a welcomed addition to our Chamber Membership,” said Southeast Kentucky Chamber Chairwoman-elect, Karen Roberts Prater.
The Chamber congratulates Megan Thacker and the entire Bluegrass Healing Partners team on this milestone and looks forward to seeing the difference their services will make in the lives of local families for years to come.
