Community Trust Bank Announces Chris Daniels promoted to VP / Communications Systems

PIKEVILLE, KY: Mark A. Gooch, President and CEO of Community Trust Bank, is pleased to announce that Chris Daniels has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Communications System.

Mr. Daniels has worked in the banking industry as an employee of Community Trust Bank for more than 17 years. He has experience as second in command for the Data Communications area of the Bank’s Technology Department for over 14 years prior to being promoted to the AVP of the Data Communications Department for Community Trust Bank in 2016.

His duties include managing all aspects of the Bank’s telecommunications systems including IP voice infrastructure as well as all video security systems, security alarm systems, and physical networking infrastructure within the corporation. He is also responsible for developing plans for the future communications infrastructure of the corporation. His office is located in the Community Trust Bank Operations Center in Pikeville, Kentucky.

Mr. Daniels graduated from Prestonsburg High School in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. He resides in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.
