Gibson awarded scholarship from state association

Frankfort, KY – April 30, 2019 - The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives (KCCE) in cooperation with their Scholarship Committee, announced today the recipients of their annual scholarships. These scholarships are awarded to chamber professionals across the state to attend to a wide variety of events that encourage professional development and growth among their profession. KCCE is proud to present Jordan Gibson, president and CEO of the Southeast Kentucky Chamber with the Institute for Organization Management Scholarship. This scholarship will allow Gibson to continue his education at the Institute for Organization Management (IOM) this summer at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. He will be completing his third year of a four-year program.
 
IOM is a program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and is the premier nonprofit professional development program for association, chamber and nonprofit professionals fostering individual growth through interactive learning and networking opportunities. IOM was designed to enhance individual performance, elevate professional standards, and nonprofit professionals who demonstrate the knowledge essential to the practice of nonprofit management.
 
KCCE is a statewide network of professionals dedicated to promoting professional education, ethical standards and efficiency in chamber of commerce management. The board of directors guides the professional development of chamber executives, employees and volunteers across the state.
