Southeast Kentucky Chamber Welcomes Harold Primary Care Clinic Pharmacy As Newest Member

PIKEVILLE, KY (December 12, 2023) – The Southeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce Harold Primary Care Clinic Pharmacy (HPCCP) as its newest member. A membership plaque was presented to the company on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.
Started in 2010 by pharmacists (and sisters) Cheryl Kirk and Alicia Dawson, HPCCP was originally located in the Harold Clinic Building. As business grew, they moved to its current location at 159 KY 680 East, Harold about two and a half years ago. The larger space has allowed the pharmacy to provide more services to its patients, such as an over-the-counter product sales area, a drive-thru pick up window, and they now administer vaccines to adult patients.
Harold Primary Care Clinic Pharmacy’s success is attributed not only to its expanded offerings but also to its dedicated and compassionate team. Passionate about diabetes education, HPCCP not only trains patients how to properly use their glucose monitors, but they also go into local schools to train staff members on how to better serve their diabetic students. Further, the staff regularly looks for ways to go above and beyond for their patients, whether that be calling in refills on their behalf, or finding ways to save money on prescription costs.
Reflecting on her passion for her work, Co-owner Cheryl Kirk, said, “Being able to help and serve my community is incredibly fulfilling. Seeing our patients smile or being able to help them save money on prescriptions is the most rewarding aspect of what we do.”
